Project: Interactive Library Maps
The Libraries department wanted an interactive map created out of floor plan drawings they had previously made. They had to include each library and each floor, and they wanted to display information about what’s in each room.
My role:
- Find a way to design the feature so that the developers could build natively within the CMS (Cascade) or find a third-party solution they could build into the CMS. MapsSVG was able to be used for this project
- Worked with the Library marketing director to accurately update floor plan vectors and to add color, shading and icons to help differentiate areas of the libraries
